Healthy Recipe to Fuel Athletes
Ingredients
2 cups rolled oats
5 large eggs
2 cups 2% cottage cheese
2 ripe bananas, cut into pieces
6 tbsp peanut butter powder
2 tbsp maple syrup
4 tsp baking powder
1 tbsp ground cinnamon
1 tbsp vanilla extract
½ cup semisweet chocolate chips
2 tbsp unsalted butter
Instructions
Grind the oats in the blender, making sure to stop and mix the oats occasionally to get even blending, until it turns into a mostly fine powder.
Add the eggs, cottage cheese, bananas, peanut butter powder, maple syrup, baking powder, cinnamon, and vanilla in this order. Puree in the blender, stopping and stirring if needed, this should take 30 seconds.
Put the batter into a bowl and stir in the chocolate chips. Melt around a tablespoon of butter in a large skillet. Ladle about a ¼ a cup mounds of batter into the skillet spacing them out evenly. Use the back of a spoon to spread the batter out. Cook until golden brown about 3-4 minutes then flip and do the same thing on the other side. Enjoy!

Beach Blanket Bingo
Jump into spring break with bingo at the library! Bring a beach blanket or towel to the library and enjoy a fun time of playing bingo. This program will take place on March 20 from 10:00-11:30 am at the Mahomet Public Library and is for kids in Kindergarten-Fifth grade. No registration is required.

Ecology Spring Break Camp
Explore the wonders of nature at the Ecology Spring Break Camp. Campers will create inventions, learn more about biomimicry, and build creations based on the engineering of nature and animals. Each day will have new fun adventures that include games, crafts, visits from critters, and the a trip to the Museum of Science and Industry. The event will be at Lovelace Park (Gross Point Rd & Thayer St, Evanston, IL 60201) from March 24-28 from 9-4 pm. This event is for kids 5-11 years old and they will provide an afternoon snack, but campers should bring a nut-free lunch. The camp costs $365 for residents and $475 for nonresidents.
