Healthy Recipe to Fuel Athletes
Ingredients
1-2 bell peppers sliced
2 filets of thawed mahi
Trader Joe’s BBQ seasoning
Salt and pepper
6 thin corn tortillas
2 cups shredded green cabbage
¼ cup skinny chipotle cream
¼ cup pickled onions
¼ cup cilantro lime ranch
Instructions
Preheat air fryer to 400 degrees. Spray the basket with avocado oil and add the bell peppers. Cook the bell peppers for five minutes. While the peppers are cooking, season the mahi filets with BBQ seasoning and kosher salt.
When the bell peppers are done cooking, move them over to the side of the air fryer basket and add the fish. Cook the bell peppers and the fish for five minutes.
Toss the cabbage in 2 tbsp of cilantro lime ranch. Heat the tortillas in a pan or over the stove. To build the taco add chipotle cream, cabbage, cooked bell pepper, cooked mahi, pickled onions, and cilantro lime ranch.

The Urbana Free Library is hosting a Crafty Tales story time for children ages 2-6. The group will be working on their early literacy skills in a fun supportive environment that will be filled with music, rhymes, active learning, and books. There will also be a craft time after story time.

How to Cool Down After a Summer Workout
After exercising it’s important to make sure that you have a proper cool down, this helps to decrease your heart rate and lower your body temperature. It’s even more important to cool down in the summer heat because the heat can cause increased body temperate, a faster heart rate, dehydration, and other heat relates issues. Since the heat adds extra stress on your body while you’re working out it’s important to add hydration, cold towels, electrolytes, and more to your cool down Having a solid cool down and knowing what to add to it in the summer months will help you feel rejuvenated and refreshed after your workout.
